Thurso manager Stevie Reid decides to resign

At an EGM of Thurso FC held last night, manager Stevie Reid informed the club of his intention to step down with immediate effect. The club reluctantly agreed to his resignation and now Thurso FC begins the search for a new manager or a caretaker manager until the end of the season. The club would like to thank Stevie for all his hard work in his two spells as our manager for nearly 250 games and wish him and his family all the best for the future.

Stevie said “I would like to thank the club as a whole for the years of support and just through personal feelings it’s time for me to call it a day. I have had some great times at the club before I took over, assisting the great man Duncan Gray and obviously during my first spell, the two North Caledonian league titles and cups we won during my time are the highlights and also the opportunity to manage a lot of great players and characters such as my assistant Jimmy Canavan for the club has been great and Michael Gray for his poor banter. I wish nothing but all the best for the club going forward”
